Students from De Montfort University will open for Saving Face on Fri 26 May with an improvised piece of work using the themes of Saving Face.

The ensemble have worked with tasks and improvisation using the themes of Saving Face - what we hide.  You may see reflections of stories or momentary happenings from their lives, feelings that they have, their likes and dislikes.  We use activities and ideas with space, action and text that Si introduced in his workshop.

This work has been made by the students and directed by Mel Knott.  It has been made in 3 short rehearsals, over 4 hours.  Much of it is improvised and instant.
