Playing With Reality: Puppetry and Augmented Reality
Workshops
This fun workshop explores the intersection of puppetry and motion capture through the use of various softwares and physical performance.
In celebration of Tobi Poster-Su’s new puppetry show, The Lonesome Death of Eng Bunker, premiering at Omnibus Theatre from 17th -21st September, we invite you to join us in exploring the exciting intersection of AI and puppetry.
Led by Donald Shek (3D Designer Home X, Augmented Chinatown App) and Kayla Teodoro (Puppet maker for The Lonesome Death of Eng Bunker), this workshop will delve into the innovative use of 3D Modelling, Augmented Reality, and AI programs to push the boundaries of puppetry as an art form. Through a hands-on session, you'll discover how motion capture and various software tools can bring new dimensions to physical performance.
