Job Description:
Kakilang is excited to be looking for a new visionary Artistic Director and joint CEO to deliver our artistic, strategic, and financial objectives as an industry leading National Portfolio Organisation. You will be leading Kakilang in creating and producing a programme of bold and pioneering interdisciplinary art, and in championing East and South East Asian (ESEA) artists and communities across the UK and internationally.
We are open to applications from practising artists that identify as having ESEA heritage. Candidates must have a strong track record of delivering bold and impactful art in any practice, and be passionate about shaping Kakilang’s interdisciplinary programming and overall vision as an ESEA heritage arts organisation. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, genders, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and disabled candidates.
